Kiss The Ground Film Screening & Panel Discussion Hosted by NOFA-NH, Seacoast NH Permaculture and Stonewall Farm
About this event

How does the food we eat and the way we farm impact the planet as a whole? Can better ways of farming and care of the living soil help reverse global warming and restore both human and planetary health?

NOFA-NH, Stonewall Farm, and Seacoast NH Permaculture are pleased to present a free screening and panel discussion of a film that explores these vital questions and more. “Kiss the Ground” is a powerful new documentary that examines how regenerative organic farming and people’s eating choices can produce abundant food, reinvigorate the soil, fight climate change, and recharge local economies. At the same time, it suggests how such practices can heal our bodies, build community, and even foster biodiversity.

Kiss the Ground brings us so much great information, but also can only cover so much in one film. Our post-film discussion will help us expand the conversation even further.

Hear from the following panelists and be part of the conversation on Wednesday, Janaury 13th at 6:30 PM:

• Julie Davenson, Executive Director, Stonewall Farm
• Julie Snorek, Ph.D., Research Associate, Dartmouth College
• Ramblin Farmers, Logan & Cheezy
• Rob Werner, New Hampshire State Director, League of Conservation Voters

We hope to see you there!
